The World Cup is when the soccer world comes to the surface. Every four years, the entire globe turns its head to one tournament, and the US is forced to reckon with its status as the only place on earth where the game doesn’t dominate the rest of the year. For Nike, that realization came into focus clearly in 1994, when they debuted Beaverton’s first soccer shoe, the Tiempo Premier 1994.
As Nike continues this year’s World Cup product push with more pairs of the new suspended cleat Cryoshot collection, the brand is taking it back to the OG, bringing the Tiempo Premier ‘94 back in all its original glory. Like the rest of the Cryoshot line, the Tiempo Premier ‘94 features cleats built into the sole, encased in a translucent coating to create a wearable museum piece for die-hard soccer fans.

Taking it back to the first Nike soccer cleat colorway, the Cryoshot Tiempo Premier 1994 features a full foot of quilted black leather with white Swooshes on the side panel and a folded tongue, and a large Nike logo on the heel. Underfoot, a white sole and set of spikes is covered in a street-ready coating.
The Nike Cryoshot Tiempo Premier 1994 will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $210. For all the latest Nike soccer news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
