The Astrograbber is having its well-deserved moment. Following last year’s critically acclaimed Bode collaboration, the old school Nike silhouette is officially back in full force. And while most of the recent colorways have kept things simple and understated, that’s about to change with the Nike Astrograbber Astrology W.
Originally introduced in 1974 as a turf training shoe, the Astrograbber's low-profile build, flexible sole, and grippy traction pattern made it a versatile favorite before it quietly disappeared into the archives. Fast forward a few decades, and its return has sparked new appreciation for the Beaverton brand’s often-overlooked performance heritage.

Often travelling between the UK and Hong Kong, don't be too surprised if you find Adam anywhere else around the world taking street photography or feasting on the local delicacies.
Inspired by the cosmic language of astrology – the system that interprets celestial movements to find meaning in personality and destiny – this special pair comes dressed in smooth Off-Noir leather, giving the retro shape a modern, moody edge. Cement Grey suede Swooshes cut across the sides, while soft complementary tones line the interior. Underfoot, a classic rubber midsole nods to the shoe’s vintage roots, offering lightweight cushioning and that unmistakable ’70s Nike feel.
But what truly sets this Astrograbber apart from the rest of the lineup are the finely embroidered sun and moon symbols stitched around the heel, adding a mystical touch to the otherwise subtle design. The celestial artwork also appears on the insoles, and Nike even includes an extra set of laces so you can tailor the look to your energy.
Expect the Nike Astrograbber Astrology W to release in women’s sizing during Holiday 2025 via Nike and select retailers both online and in-store. For your best shot at securing a pair, make sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
