During a year full of turn-of-the-21st-century retros, the Nike Air Superfly was one of the cleanest and most successful left-field revivals. A semi-forgotten silhouette from the early 2000s originally designed as an ultra-light runner, the Nike Air Superfly took on new life as a lifestyle favorite in 2025 in a mix of OG and updated colorways. Now, with a new year upon us, Nike is transforming the shoe into a slip-on for the first time in its multi-decade history.
The Nike Air Superfly Moc Metallic Silver is the debut colorway of the moccasin remix of the Superfly, covering the traditional lace panel with a zig-zag stitched, sleek elastic cover. Starting with the shoe’s most iconic OG colorway, the Superfly Moc is a two-tone mix of a black base and metallic silver suede side panels.
In addition to the laceless slip-on construction, the biggest change on the updated model is larger vent holes on the side panels for increased breathability to make up for what’s lost without the tongue. The stealthy, slim, low-cut silhouette remains, though, keeping up the slipper style that’s dominated women’s sneakers lately.
The Nike Air Superfly Moc Metallic Silver will be released January 13, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
