Style trends are revolving back to the Y2K era, with footwear labels leaning into this era by bringing back models from this point in history and using the design language of the time to inform new silhouettes. One of these newer models informed by the 2000s is the Air Max Muse, a women’s-focused Air Max model that Jordan Chiles first previewed in November last year. Now, we have looks at a clean Triple Black colorway.
Though its global debut occurred today, January 10, the Air Max Muse looks like it was pulled from a capsule dated 2000. The softly exaggerated proportions and unique shape coincide with the molded overlays and paneling, offering a sneaker that stands out yet appears familiar. For this Triple Black rendition, Nike coats the shiny synthetic leather overlays, the mesh base, and the nubuck pods in a sleek black finish.
