With all eyes back on the Nike Air Foamposite One, Nike decided it was the best time to bring back another Foamposite classic from the golden age of Nike Basketball — the Air Flightposite. Initially released in 1999, the sneaker has become a cult classic among die-hard Foamposite fans and 90s/2000s Nike Basketball fans. Following the retro of the Metallic Gold and Triple Black colorways, an all-new Baroque Brown version will be released.
Early samples of this Holiday 2025 are pictured here, meaning the final release version will differ slightly. The molded Foamposite portions of the upper come coated in the titular Baroque Brown, contrasting the black neoprene used on the tongue and collar. Breaking up the two-tone design are hits of blue on this sample. However, as mentioned earlier, the retail version will be different, especially considering the color scheme mentions “bright crimson” and lacks any mention of blue.
