Although we’re tired of saying it, sportstyle mesh runners are still dominating the fashion trends of streetwear and sneaker culture. Nike has continued to tap into this trend, with more options of the Vomero 5 coming out each month and previews of pairs for 2025 hitting the internet on what seems like a daily occurrence. The Vomero 5 is getting an earthy Sail Mink Brown color scheme for its latest makeover.
Open-spaced mesh in a sail hue is present on the base layer of this Vomero 5, visible along the toebox, tongue, and collar. Resting above this neutral base are hits of mink brown, taking over the suede paneling of the mudguard, toebox, vamp, and heel and surrounding the midfoot's tonal TPU cage. Above the midfoot is a sail-colored Swoosh outlined in tonal brown shades, matching the color of the laces and tongue above.
More hits of tonal brown appear on the Nike Vomero 5-branded woven tongue label, the TPU heel counter, and the mesh sockliner. Below, the silhouette retains its Zoom Air and Cushlon 3.0-cushioned foam midsole, covered in cream and brown shades. Finishing the design is the tonal rubber outsole with more shades of brown.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Sail Mink Brown will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
