Nike has given us an array of makeups on the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 as the once-performance running silhouette has become a staple in the fashion and sneaker scene. For Spring 2025, there are no plans for a slow-down in releases, with previews of pairs like the Black Gum and Dark Smokey Grey hitting the net. Now, the sneaker is getting a springtime-ready color scheme in Barely Volt Midnight Navy.
On the base, we see a wide-spaced mesh in a white, contrasting the barely volt hues along the mudguard, tongue, heel counter, and lining the white leather on the midfoot overlays. Nearby, these light green panels are midnight navy overlays on the toebox, vamp, and midfoot cage. The white laces contrast the volt, red, and midnight navy tongue.
Another instance of this red hue is on the piping of the white Swoosh and the woven portion of the Nike Vomero 5-branded tongue tag. Final details on the upper include the midnight sockliner and the red Swoosh logo on the heel. The Vomero 5 midsole below retains its Cushlon 3.0 and Zoom Air cushioning within the black, cream, and barely volt foam. The outsole finishes the design with its midnight navy and red finish.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Barely Volt Midnight Navy was released on January 13, 2025, and is available now through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
