Foam-based slip-ons were all the rage in the early part of the decade, but even though life has returned to normalcy, the trend has stuck around. Nike got in on this a little later than most with the ReactX Rejuven8, which was released in the first months of 2025 and became one of the brand’s hardest-to-get silhouettes. The Rejuven8 family even extended into a slide design with more colorways, like the pictured Hyper Royal, which is coming later this year.
The silhouette is constructed entirely from ReactX foam, one of Nike’s softest and most comfortable cushioning technologies. Wavy striations add some depth to the one-piece foam design, with the linear pattern featured on the profile and heel of the slip-on. Unlike its cousin, this slide version removes the heel lockdown and the toe coverage, but it still keeps the textured footbed and mini Swoosh design on the forefoot. The tonal blue sticky rubber outsole finishes the design to match the hyper royal shade used across the upper.
The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Slide Hyper Royal will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $60.
