Laser-etched colorways were a major factor in the evolution of sneaker culture. At the turn of the 21st century, when sneaker brands were starting to take sneakerheads seriously, Jordan and Nike broke out the lasers, etching a pack of Air Jordan 4s and one particularly iconic pair of Air Force 1s from the TV show Entourage with laser-cut details. Now, 20 years later, Beaverton is bringing the lasers out of storage.
The Nike LeBron 23 Laser PE is the latest pair from Nike’s revived laser collection, joining a retro of the Air Jordan 4 pack, a Nike SB Air Force 1 with laser-etched flowers for Yuto Horigome, along with an Air Jordan 3 Retro and an Air Jordan 1 Retro Low. The pair is a direct homage to the Nike Air Zoom Generation Laser, a PE colorway that Bron debuted on Christmas Day 2003.

Featuring a white leather base on the upper, the crown-shaped support section features an all-over print laser-etched graphic pattern with jagged-cut details. The top section of the upper stays clean white, with silver on the Swoosh and red velvet on the sockliner. The outsole returns to stark white, with a silver LeBron logo on the tongue.
The Nike LeBron 23 Laser PE will be released September 18, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $210.
