Victor Solomon and Nike are Reviving Their Gold-Dipped Collab for WNBA All-Star Weekend

There’s nothing like Chicago in the summer. The cement lakeside beaches downtown, the incredible food, taking in a game from the bleachers at Wrigley - it doesn’t get better than that. This July, the WNBA is going to the Midwest for the All-Star Game, bringing the best in the W to Chi-Town for a weekend of hoops, parties, and plenty of sneaker activations. At Nike, the NBA All-Star vibes in LA earlier this year were so strong that they needed to run it back.

Black and Gold for the All-Stars

The Victor Solomon x Nike Air Max 90 ASW Black is a sequel to Solomon’s NBA All-Star collection in white, bringing a tougher but still luxurious look to fit the Chicago location. Just like its NBA All-Star counterpart, the black leather pair features splashes of silver gems and gold metal accents throughout, and comes alongside an equally luxurious pair of collab Air Force 1s.

On the Air Max 90, a mix of pebbled leather, textured fabric, and smooth matte black leather combines for a premium upper. The Swoosh is covered in gems, and the laces are replaced by a gold chain with a toggle-tightening ball at the top eyelets. More gold is added to the Nike tongue tag and the Solomon signature at the heel.
