Exotic animal prints have become the go-to for many brands lately, as seen in multiple new releases from Nike and adidas. The Beaverton-based sportswear brand applies a similar concept to a new Air Force 1 Low, coating the sneaker in a sail-shaded faux fur.
While this isn’t the first time faux animal fur has made its way to the AF1 (see the Cheetah and the Virginia Union University colorways), this pair is one of the first GRs in a while to completely coat the upper in the material. Sail hues envelop each fur-laden panel, matching the cotton laces, leather Nike Air tag on the tongue, and the suede heel tab. Debossed Nike Air text lands on the heel tab while the insole utilizes a golden sail shade for its Nike logo. Finishing the design is a sail-colored rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Sail Fur will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. As of now, retail pricing has yet to be announced.
