Nike Adds Leopard Fur and Pale Pink to New Women’s Air Force 1 Low

There’s a term for women’s sneakers going back decades in the industry: pink it and shrink it. If you want to make a women’s colorway of a shoe, the adage goes, just turn it pink and run it in small sizes. That male-dominated view of the sneaker industry has largely fallen by the wayside, and for good reason, as more women designers blazed trails in the culture, but sometimes, a women’s exclusive shoe really does look good with a bit of pink on it.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Pearl White Leopard (W) beautifully mixes off white panels on the toe, heel, and lace protection, with pale pink panels on the toebox, side panels, and midsole, all rounded out with a crimson red Swoosh, gum sole, and a small hit of faux leopard fur on the heel counter.
