The Nike Mind Collection was crafted with the help of scientists, sneaker designers, and athletes, all with the shared goal of reshaping how footwear interacts with our brain waves. Now, with a steady run of sold-out colorways of the Mind 001 and Mind 002, the Mind Collection is taking hints from Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Flyknit redesign and current color trends, bringing the fashionable intentions of the shoe in line with its functional design.
Brain Gradient
The Nike Mind 001 Flyknit Bronze Eclipse is the latest pair of Mind 001 mules to employ a top-to-bottom gradient color combo and add a Flyknit patch to the tongue panel. Following a Hyper Royal and Black gradient mix, the Bronze Eclipse pair starts with the same pitch black top, but shifts to a reddish brown bronze shade on the bottom half and outsole.
Just like the last Mind 001 Flyknit colorway, the mind-adjusting nodes set into the footbed match the color of the mini Swoosh on the Flyknit tongue panel, this time in bright orange. In addition to the Flyknit Mind 001 pairs, the Mind 002 has also taken after the fragment design collab from earlier this year, with a few new pairs featuring a full coat of Flyknit on the upper.
