For some reason, superheroes love red and blue. It probably has something to do with tapping into a subconscious (or very conscious) patriotism, but whether we’re talking Superman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, or Captain America, something about the mix of red and blue screams super more than it does sports.
Two-Tone Brain Power
For its latest iteration of the Mind 001 mule, Nike gets super in a bright two-tone combo. The colorway starts with a blue base on the sleek upper and perforated column-stacked midsole. The soft, perforated laceless tongue panel switches to a Hyper Punch shade of red that carries over to the mind-altering set of 22 nodes underfoot.
Technical details are written in black on the footbed, and like so many of the Nike Mind 001 pairs, the colorway adds silver mini Swooshes to the top and side. As the Mind collection establishes itself in the Nike line, The Swoosh continues to bring out the brain-stimulating shoes in brighter colors, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
