The Nike Ja 3 TB White Wolf Grey is Howling at the Moon

Ja Morant is headed to Rose City to partner with Damian Lillard and Scoot Henderson to form a triumvirate of signature athletes. This puts Ja right at the doorstep of Nike as the first signature athlete for the brand on the Trail Blazers since Scottie Pippen. Before the two-time All-Star can debut his sleek Nike Ja 4 on the court, Morant is wrapping up the Nike Ja 3’s lifespan with eight team bank colorways of the already popular sneaker. Among those colorways is the Nike Ja 3 TB White Wolf Grey, which slots in nicely with Morant’s new team colors.

Hungry Like the Wolf

The colorway keeps it as subtle as this energetic silhouette can muster. The Nike Ja 3 TB White Wolf Grey mimics one of the model’s early colorways, the Nike Ja 3 Light Show, albeit without the graffiti-style ‘JA’ on the side panel formed by the metallic blue Swoosh. The model’s foundation is the breathable white mesh base, which offers breathability and flexibility. The model’s slashing aesthetic is courtesy of a TPU support structure formed by light grey “JA” logos that grow in size as they reach the midsole.

Those logos overlay the ZoomX midsole, which adds an extra level of absorption for athletes with bounce. A glossy black Swoosh that shapes a J on the lateral side and the Swoosh print on the medial side add the darkest hues to the silhouette. The light grey returns on the tongue logo and ‘Twelve’ branding on the heel to wrap up the look.
