Ja Morant Brings “Let Me Be Ja” Air Force 1 Energy to Bright Yellow Ja 3

It’s getting harder and harder for the Memphis Grizzlies to let Ja Morant be Ja, and after a particularly slow and disgruntled start to the year, rumors are already swirling about a potential trade involving the star point guard. No amount of rumors can stop Ja from being himself, though, and his latest Nike Ja 3 colorway is a testament to his headstrong determination.

The Nike Ja 3 Let Me Be Ja is a sequel to the Nike Air Force 1 Let Me Be Ja colorway that dropped earlier this month, keeping the bright yellow upper and black sole. Instead of bringing the black back to the upper for the branding, the Ja 3 version adds hits of red on the Swooshes, tongue label, and ZoomX branding. So far, we’ve only seen a quick preview of the lateral side of the shoe, so we’re not positive if this version features “Let Me Be Ja” written in black on the medial side, but we’re pretty confident it follows the same personalized, sharpie-style trend as the AF1.

We first saw the Let Ja Be Ja theme from the man himself at the beginning of the year, when Ja posted photos of the yellow Air Force 1 and a matching Nike Ja 2. The Ja 2 never dropped, and we just got the AF1 after 10 months of waiting, but this time around, the Ja 3 will get a wide release instead of the personal PE treatment.

The Nike Ja 3 Let Me Be Ja will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail prices are set at $125, $102, and $87, respectively.
