Ja Morant’s signature sneaker series with Nike has consistently celebrated the holiday season. More specifically, Christmas, as seen with the Nike Ja 1 and Ja 2 each getting colorways honoring yuletide. After Morant himself previewed around a dozen or so colorways of his latest sneaker, the Nike Ja 3, we’re getting detailed looks at the Christmas-themed pair.

The colorway blends volt and bright crimson on a white mesh base for a green and red vibe that brings some serious Grinch energy. The claw mark pattern wrapping around the shoe features Ja’s personal Nike logo monogrammed in a gradient that transforms from green to red with hues of orange and yellow in the middle. Colorblocking is broken up by black Swooshes, with the lateral side logo shaping Ja’s name with the Swoosh, and a more traditional horizontal Swoosh on the medial side.
The shape of the claw mark graphic and the red and green colorway combine to create some vague Christmas Trees if you squint, but the holiday theme is really brought out on the tongue, where a translucent cutout is filled with fake snow next to Ja’s logo, creating a snowglobe effect with every step. Finishing the sneaker is the ZoomX-cushioned volt green midsole and outsole.
The Nike Ja 3 Christmas will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is $140 for men’s sizing. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world!
