Ja Morant’s signature Nike sneaker, the Nike Ja 2, appears to be following in the footsteps of its predecessor. Just like the Ja 1, we’ve seen the second iteration of Morant’s sneaker line appear in a colorway for Christmas and Halloween and a pair made for Nike’s EYBL. Now, continuing the trend, Nike is giving the Ja 2 a luxurious and opulent makeover in partnership with legendary jeweler Swarovski.
Unlike the Nike Ja 1 from 2023 and the other Ja 2 part of the Black Label collection, this pair comes encrusted in hundreds of Swarovski crystals across its eyelets, midfoot, and heel. Black mesh makes up the toe and tongue, while the suede panel on the top portion of the tongue is home to more Swarovski crystals in the form of Ja Morant's logo. Contrasting the black and crystal design are hits of coconut milk on the midfoot swoosh on the lateral side, which also contains a smaller black leather Swoosh in the center.

While this design lacks Black Label branding on the upper, like the LeBron 22, Sabrina 2, and Victor Wembanyama's GT Hustle 3, the pair reserves the custom logo for the insole of the left sneaker. Underfoot, the model takes on a blacked-out midsole and a black outsole contrasted by a blue 12 logo near the toe.
The Swarovski x Nike Ja 2 Black Label will release on February 14, 2025, through Nike SNKRS and possibly via select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $550.
