For NBA All-Star, Nike is going all out with its signature athletes. We’ve all become accustomed to collections of sneakers from Nike Basketball, usually all falling under the same theme. Still, this year, the label has elevated models from athletes like Ja Morant, Sabrina Ionescu, and LeBron James through the Black Label collection. Of course, the collection wouldn’t be complete without a pair from The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Like the other pairs in the collection, the silhouette sees an upgrade in its material makeup and comes in the same mixture of black and coconut milk. Here, the base layer comes in a lightweight, breathable mesh that, when hit with flash, produces a 3M-laden camouflage pattern. This look extends onto the eyestays, Swoosh, and heel. Moving up to the tongue, split branding for Giannis and the Black Label Collection is present, both logos coming in an iridescent emerald green hue.

Along the midfoot, the almost all-black look is broken up by the fused TPU lining the Swoosh, working back to stop on the spine of the heel. Another nod to the Black Label collection is located on the end of the Swoosh as the left shoe features the collection's name, and the right shows the pair is limited to 1,994 pairs. Down below, the midsole and outsole come finished in black.
The Nike Giannis Freak 6 Black Label will release on February 14, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
