While Foamposite fans had to deal with a down period for the franchise in the latter part of the 2010s, today, the silhouette and its adjacent models are gaining popularity. We have a solid idea of what's coming next for the Foamposite family, including the upcoming Triple White and Cough Drop releases. However, Sole Retriever can confirm that one of the first Foamposite releases in 2026 will be a retro of the iconic Foamposite Pro University Blue.
Initially released in 2003, this Foamposite Pro has never seen a retro release before, with this 2026 drop marking its return after 23 years in the vault. For those unaware, the Foamposite Pro differs from the standard Foamposite One thanks to its added Swoosh branding and its removal of references to Penny Hardaway, as no 1 Cent logos are featured. Instead, embroidered Swoosh logos mark the heel tab. Later in 2025, the Foamposite Pro will return in the Pearl and Pine Green colorways.
