We’ve seen Nike pump out the Dunk Low in a variety of colorways over the last few years. Some have taken on classic combos of collegiate-like color schemes while others introduced new takes or redesigns of the Peter Moore-designed silhouette. For its latest makeover, Nike is taking elements from the recently-revived Nike Zoom Vomero 5 and applying them to the Nike Dunk Low with the upcoming “Timeless” colorway.
Taking on the material makeup one would find on a pair of Zoom Vomero 5s, the Dunk Low keeps its classic shape while replacing the usual suede/leather underlay in favor of a grey mesh. Throughout the upper, you’ll find grey leather overlays with both the mudguard and heel featuring a curvy TPU film that mimics similar details found on the 2010s runner it is based on. Along the spine of the tongue sits a volt green nylon strip that hosts 3M details in its center, stopping just below the glitched-like tongue tag featuring a partial Vomero 5 mixed with a standard Dunk Low “Nike” logo. More special details are found near the midfoot with the TPU cage found on the Vomero 5 present just below the grey Swoosh. Stark white hits on the heel tab and sockliner come accented by blue branding details and a volt green insole respectively while the sneaker comes complete with a white Dunk midsole and blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Timeless is set to release in 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
