Martine Rose and Supreme are joining forces once again, and they're tapping in Nike for a triple-collab on a new pair of low-top Dunks that look like they take influence from Manhattan’s bootleg marketplace just a few blocks away from Supreme’s Bowery Street flagship.
Float Like A Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee
The Supreme x Martine Rose x Nike Dunk Low Mike Tyson starts with a triple-black leather upper to match the triple collab, but goes graphic tee on the back half, adding an iconic image of Mike Tyson mid-knockout swing in his TKO victory over Trevor Berbick in 1986 to become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion of all-time to the back two side panels on the lateral and medial side. The image of Tyson is interrupted by a black leather Swoosh running across the image.
A Supreme Martine logo is added in gold to the lateral heel for a bit of co-branding right in Tyson’s sight line. A gold Nike logo adds a bit more color on the tongue tag, and Martine Rose x Supreme co-branding is added to the insoles with a Mike Tyson copyright hit.
