Around this time every year, sneaker brands all over the globe unleash their Halloween collections. It's become a bit of an event in the culture, and this year is no different. With the spooky season coming up just around the corner, Nike has taken the wraps off the Nike Dunk Low Halloween Wizard – and here’s everything you need to know.
From a distance, the Wizard bears a striking resemblance to the legendary court purple color combo or even Hayley Wilson's SB collab. But as soon as you get up close, you’ll notice that it’s a different kind of beast altogether. Boasting a full leather construction, the base is kept matte black while the grand purple overlays are textured with a tumbled effect. Artisan teal accents hit the cotton laces, while matching hues grace the side Swooshes, which are marbled for an almost potion-like aesthetic.
Nike Dunk Low Limited Halloween Wizard
Underfoot, the rubber midsole has been murdered-out for a creepy vibe, and it’s lined with an icy blue outsole – similar to the one found on the Abominable Snowman. To really drive the Halloween theme home, orb graphics are stitched onto the Dunk Low's tongue tag, while a wizard hovering over a crystal ball is printed on the insoles.
Halloween shoes have become their own subgenre in the last two decades, with Nike leading the charge through SB Dunk Freddy Krueger samples, glow-in-the-dark Air Force 1s, and pumpkin-themed Blazers. The Dunk Low Wizard slides neatly into that tradition, balancing spooky storytelling with legit everyday style.
The Nike Dunk Low Retro Limited Halloween Wizard will release Holiday 2025 (hopefully before Halloween) through Nike and select retailers both online and in-store for $135.
