Over the last few years, the Nike Dunk Low has surged in popularity, leading to various retooled versions of the model being introduced. One of the latest iterations of the Peter Moore-designed silhouette "Remasters" the classic Dunk by adding additional cushioning and applying a DIY aesthetic to the almost 40-year-old sneaker. Since debuting earlier this year, the Dunk Low Remastered has already appeared in several color schemes including a clean “Reverse Panda.” Joining the early lineup will be a “Khaki Purple” variant with a healthy contrast.
This iteration of the Nike Dunk Low Remastered features a combination of tumbled leather and mesh across its upper. Khaki shades land on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, with white mesh visible on the toe box and midfoot. The inside-out tongue hosts exposed foam on its edge and feature a Nike-branded tag, though it is placed on its side. A canvas pull tab is added to the spine of the purple tongue, while dark brown laces contrast the vibrant purple and neutral khaki hits. Small bursts of purple appear through stitching along the eyestays and via a leather panel near the large khaki Swoosh. Dark brown hits on the collar and sockliner finish the upper, while a white midsole and light tan outsole with Zoom Strobel cushioning complete the overall look.
The Nike Dunk Low Remastered Khaki Purple will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
