Sometimes, a GR is more than just a GR. Nike’s latest Dunk Low, a multi-shade pink pair with brown accents, is a dead ringer for the classic pink boxes used by old-school donut shops. With that concept in mind, Louisiana sneaker boutique and skate shop, Rukus, decided to have as much fun as possible with the release.
The Nike Dunk Low Pink Donut is taking on new life at Rukus. From its start, the brand has embraced the number “103” for its use as the local police code for a noise disturbance, or ruckus. With the pink Dunk colorway giving the Ruckus squad donut box vibes, the connection to cops was an easy jump, and gave the team reason to create a special release for the otherwise standard dunk.
Rukus crafted its own custom box for the colorway, complete with donut shop-style script, a nod to the 103 police code, and a cup of coffee, for dipping, of course. The shop also made its own Rukus 103 Donuts hangtag chains to go with every pair they sell. The pink pair might be a GR, but if you cop it from Rukus, it won’t feel like it.
The Nike Dunk Low Pink Donut will be released June 20, 2026, through Rukus, with a global release through Nike and select retailers in-store and online expected to follow soon. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
