Nike Dunk Low NOLA
Buy at Nike
Nike's homages to various cities, regions, and countries have taken place on multiple silhouettes, but one of the favorites is the Dunk Low. The humble Peter Moore-designed model has paid tribute to Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia in the last few years. Now, another Southern US city is getting its own Nike Dunk Low release—New Orleans.
The city of NOLA, specifically the French Quarter, inspires the design of this Dunk Low through its color palette, materials, and added motifs. Most obviously, the city's French roots are translated through baroque detailing on the purple Swoosh and heel tab, contrasting the light bone-shaded leather panels of the toebox and midfoot. Iridescent leather is on the collar, sandwiched between the orange sockliner and the light green-shaded heel overlay.
