With its history of collegiate-themed colorways, the Nike Dunk silhouette has continued to be the canvas of choice for some of the more simple colorways in The Swoosh’s arsenal of releases. Joining this list is a darker-tone colorway of the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature, coming in "Dark Beetroot Black."
Like every other Next Nature variant of the Nike Dunk Low, the silhouette contains a portion of recycled materials while still maintaining its classic look and leather construction. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays, a dark beetroot leather sits, accented by the black leather panels on the toebox, midfoot, and collar. Running up the black mesh tongue is a set of flat cotton laces in a tonal dark beetroot, also matching the Nike branding on the black tongue tag. Running along the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh gets covered in the same beetroot shade seen throughout the silhouette, stopping just below the same shaded heel tab. While the sockliner continues this beetroot color, the insole comes in a bright volt green with a black pinwheel Nike Swoosh graphic. Rounding everything out is the white Dunk midsole paired with a partially recycled dark beetroot rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Next Nature Dark Beetroot W is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
