Nike understands that the hype and demand surrounding the Dunk Low are nowhere near what they were in the early parts of the decade. Keeping this in mind, we should expect to see fewer Dunks offered, meaning that the ones that Nike does put out will need to be more than just slapping the same two-tone leather build we’ve become used to. The Swoosh has the right idea with an upcoming beach-themed rendition.
Joining a similarly-themed Air Force 1 Low, the Dunk Low Beach Sunset has an asymmetrical color scheme that flips the shades used on the overlays and underlays between the left and right shoe. On the left, we see glacier blue hues on the leather mudguard, eyelets, and heel overlay, while the right reserves this color for the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar. Both share the added lace charms, which include pearls, palm fronds, a palm tree, and flowers, the latter taking on a marbled sunset-themed color scheme.
