1985 was a great year for sneakers. Nike introduced a slew of key models, most notably the Jordan 1 and Dunk Low. While the former of the two has had the glitz and glamor for its 40th birthday, the Dunk has had a more low-key celebration with remixes and retros of classic colorways. Now, joining other OG-adjacent sneakers is a Kentucky remix.
Back when the Dunk first hit shelves and was introduced as a performance basketball shoe, a series of collegiate colors under the Be True To Your School collection were produced, one of which was made for the Kentucky Wildcats. Over the years, the pair has returned in multiple forms, but this new version tweaks a few minor details, like the recent retro of the St. John’s and Syracuse Dunks.
