The Nike Dunk Low is joining a series of sneakers celebrating the Houston Comets' historic WNBA four-peat. Releasing later this year, the Dunk joins the Air Force 1 Low and Air Force 1 Mid in honoring the now defunct franchise.
Mirroring the Comets' colors, the Nike Dunk Low Premium Houston Comets "4-Peat" boasts a spirited mix of white, navy, and red. The leather overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel shine in white, beautifully juxtaposed by the navy sections on the toe box, quarter panel, and collar. A white Swoosh surrounded by red piping injects a pop of energy, while the heel tabs host the years of the consecutive championships across the two sneakers. A lateral heel graphic of a hand triumphantly hoisting four fingers round out the nods, while the design ends with a white midsole and navy outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Premium Houston Comets "4-Peat" (W) will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
