The Nike Dunk Low is again capturing attention with another upcoming release. This one is a nod to Korean heritage. Fresh off the back of several iconic Dunk releases this year, Nike now aims to immortalize "Hangul Day." This special day in Korea pays homage to the creation of Hangul, the national script, by Sejong the Great centuries ago.
The Nike Dunk Low "Hangul Day" doesn't skimp on details, boasting an assembly of high-quality suedes in varying tan shades across the upper, similar to the recently revealed Nike P-6000 Premium. Laces in a gentle cream contrast seamlessly, while a pebbled leather Swoosh ties the design together in matching tan. But what truly stands out is the heel – the left displays the Hangul script for "Nike," and the right showcases a unique "N" logo with the classic Swoosh and "est. 72" – a nod to Nike's establishment year. The insoles, too, are thoughtfully designed; they inversely mirror the heel tab detailing. Finishing the shoe is a timeless gum rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Hangul Day will release October 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
