2024 witnessed an event that many sneakerheads never thought was coming: the retail release of the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High. The revered and grail-status colorway hit shelves just five days ago at the time of this writing, though those who missed out will have a consolation prize next year. Sole Retriever can confirm that Wu will work with Nike again on a black and yellow Dunk High, this time in a reverse color scheme.
Inverting the classic Iowa colorway was used to create the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High in the ‘90s. The pair will feature the same premium leather construction used on the retail release. Black shades appear on the mudguard, eyestays, heel overlay, and Swoosh. Pollen yellow takes over the toebox, midfoot panel, collar, and lace set, the latter resting on the black tongue. Wu-Tang Clan's iconic logo is embroidered onto the woven tongue tag and the lateral heel. Finishing off the design is the white rubber midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High Reverse will release in Fall 2025 through Wu-Tang Clan’s website, Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
