The Kylian Mbappé x Nike Air Max Plus VII Plum Eclipse takes the 2005 update on the classic Air Max TN silhouette and brings it back for the modern era. Starting with a plum purple across the one-piece mesh upper, the shoe gets a digital drip of silver dot prints covering the entire shoe for a retro-futuristic look. The small side panel Swoosh and visible Air Max bubbles are done in volt green, with a classic Air Max TN logo on the tongue.
In the past, Mbappé and Nike have collaborated on a series of performance soccer boots. This year, the international star got two colorways of Mercurial cleats, one in purple and gold, and the other in orange and blue, as part of a two-pack with a Superfly 10 cleat. With the World Cup bringing global attention to the sport next summer, we expect to see plenty more PE shoes and cleats tied to the sport's biggest stars.
