Jordan Release Calendar

If you’re cold, they’re cold; zip your shoes up. Nike is giving the Air Max 95 a fitting send-off to an anniversary year that has been flooded with the Sergio Lozano-designed silhouette. With 30 years of Air Max 95s under its belt, Beaverton brought out the big guns this year, giving the 95 high-profile collabs, OG tooling and colorways, plus obscure retros like this pair.
Returning to the Air Max 95 Z under the new name Air Max 95 Zip, Nike is fully embracing the zippered sneaker trend taking over the industry, adding a winter coat to the front of the 95. Joining a blue pair, the Nike Air Max 95 Zip Black covers the toe and side panels of the shoe in thick, hairy black suede. In contrast, the sleek zippered upper is made of darker black panels that split with a zipper running above the middle of the tongue. Underneath the sheath, the tongue returns to the hairy suede look with a black and silver Air Max logo on top. The only bit of color comes from an icy blue glow on the black midsole’s visible Air bubbles.

Nike first dropped the Air Max 95 Z in 2001, and released it in a few colorways with mostly leather material. So far for the return, we’ve only seen the black and blue suede colorways, though there is a Phantom colorway slated to release as well which we have not seen.
The Nike Air Max 95 Zip Black will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200. For all the latest Air Max news and drop info, don’t forget to download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
