Nike SB has found success in converting Jordan Brand sneakers into skate-ready silhouettes. However, Nike’s skateboarding label is heading to Nike Sportswear to redo the Air Max 95 during the sneaker’s 30th Anniversary. We’ve already seen an inline variant of this Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 in the form of the Cactus Flower colorway, but images of Nike SB team rider Eric Koston’s take on the sneaker have emerged.
Koston is no stranger to helping Nike SB work on new silhouettes, as the legendary pro skater was given his two colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Low SB back in 2019. As for his take on the Nike Air Max 95, the pair features a Michigan-friendly color scheme featuring obsidian, speed yellow, navy, and white hues. Varying suede panels in a gradient white to navy hit the midfoot, some done in a smooth nubuck-esque finish and others in a fuzzy suede.

Along the toebox sits the Thai script ไนกี้, which translates to Nike in English, a nod to Koston’s Thai roots. Other references to Koston are found on the tongue tag, with the right shoe’s Air Max tongue tag replaced with his last name. Completing the upper are white and yellow mesh hits around the toe and tongue, navy nylon loops, white laces, silver 3M panels on the tongue and heel, and Nike SB branding on the heel tab. Below sits a navy foam midsole with yellow Max Air units in the heel and forefoot and a redesigned traction pattern on the outsole for better grip on the board.
The Eric Koston x Nike SB Air Max 95 will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly via Nike SNKRS online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $190.
