The biggest party in golf - hell, maybe pro sports altogether - takes place every year on the 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Known as The Coliseum, the spectator heavy hole turns into a scene out of Happy Gilmore, with screaming drunk fans turning the PGA into a frat party every February. With Nike turning the Air Max 95 into a golf shoe for 2026, it’s only right that Beaverton joins the party to celebrate.
A tribute to the rowdy tournament, the Nike Air Max 95 Golf Waste Management Open is a clean blend of Nike’s favorite creamy khaki colors, coconut milk and sail, mixed on a suede toe, mesh upper, and perforated leather mid section, all woven together with white straps on the layered side panels. The Waste Management brand’s green logo color is incorporated into the branding on the tongue and heel, plus a bit of the midsole in the forefoot. The shoe is rounded out with engraved faux-wood panels running up the tongue and down the heel.
After a year full of Air Max Plus Golf colorways bringing the TN off the terrace and onto the tee box, Nike is continuing its annual push to convert Air Max classics into golf shoes with the Air Max 95. In addition to the Waste Management Open pair, the AM 95 Golf is getting a pink peony colorway, and, if we had to guess, a Neon before 2026 is over.
The Air Max 95 Golf Waste Management Open will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online, and with the tournament starting February 5, 2026, we’re circling that week for a potential release.
