Brooklyn-based fine artist Aya Brown found a place in the art world, bringing images of culture and community into white-walled galleries with a focus on people and bright pops of color on large canvas paintings. For her latest work, Brown is stepping off the wall and onto the street, with her first footwear collab in partnership with Nike.
The Aya Brown x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Atomic Green debuted in a creative new campaign video posted to Brown’s Instagram page this week. The quick spot shows a blueprint of the AM95 colorway in intricate detail before zooming out to show the fuzzy hands of a mascot wearing overalls and an “A” chain. Beyond the retail-ready pair, we’ve also seen a friends and family exclusive second colorway from the collab in a reversed mix of green and black with brown accents.
So far, we’ve only seen the Aya Brown x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Atomic Green in the sketch from the video, but luckily, the spot includes plenty of detail. Starting with Atomic Green suede on the wavy upper panels, the pair switches to black on the midsole, with black neoprene on the collar. An “ABrown” flip on the classic oval Air Max logo is added to the tongue, and splashes of University Red add more color to the lace dubrae and the Air bubbles.
The Aya Brown x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Atomic Green will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180. For all the latest Nike collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
