When Nike chooses to bring back a silhouette from the archives, it's not uncommon to see them tap a collaborator to help get some energy and familiarity to the model before a full-on GR release schedule. This has been the case with various models over the last decade-plus and will ring true once again with the Air Trainer Huarache. Following the recent three-pack of Corteiz colorways, including the Light Bone, Flat Pewter, and Black renditions, 2025 will mark the model's GR return.
One of the first colorways to hit shelves is the pictured Blue Tint iteration, which opts for a tonal blue finish across most of the silhouette. Suede panels grace the mudguard, perforated toebox, and the overlay that extends from the toe up to the collar and back onto the heel, all coated in a light blue. A secondary shade of blue is present on the neoprene internal bootie, tongue tag, and Nike-branded lockdown strap on the midfoot.
The strap is attached to a transparent TPU in a blue tint, outlined with light armory blue hues. To help differentiate the branding details along the tongue tag and heel, we see summit white make up the text at both locations. Below, the silhouette comes with a light army blue and summit white midsole paired with a tonal outsole.
The Nike Air Trainer Huarache Blue Tint will release in April 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $140.
