The Nike A’Two has taken over the world of basketball. It seems like every night there’s a new colorway inspired by the four-time MVP’s multitude of accomplishments, personal history, or hobbies. The A’Two has even been getting remixes from some of A’ja’s contemporaries, including Atlanta Dream All-Star Allisha Gray, who brought out an Iron Man-inspired colorway of the silhouette. The sneaker is even getting a colorway to celebrate WNBA All-Star weekend that also includes the Nike Book 2, Nike Sabrina 4, and Nike Ja 3, but the model is also shining a light on the future greats with the Nike A’Two Nike Nationals.
Celebrating the culmination of a summer’s worth of Nike Elite Youth basketball, the Nike A’Two Nike Nationals brings a pop of energy to the popular silhouette. Starting with a black mesh base, the model then gets covered in black leather overlays on the side panels and toe. A quilted pattern makes up the toe box and the area surrounding the heel counter.
A hint of turquoise trim lines the toe box to accentuate the diamond shape on the toe. The shade also highlights the Swooshes, sockliner, tongue, and medial vents. An iridescent heel counter with red A’ja branding adds a shine to the silhouette. A’ja Wilson’s logo also gets the iridescent treatment. Completing the look is a translucent outsole that transitions from an icy blue to the same shade of teal that accents the rest of the silhouette.
The Nike A’Two Nike Nationals will be released in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in adult and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $145 and $112, respectively.
