Rumors regarding Nike SB retooling Bruce Kilgore’s classic Nike Air Force 1 Low design popped up around a year ago, but more recently, Nike SB team rider Eric Koston was spotted skating a weartest sample of the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low. This all but confirmed the project was in the works, and now Sole Retriever can confirm that the first Nike SB Air Force 1 Lows will release Summer 2026.
Pictured here is a speculative mock-up of one of the first colorways of Nike SB’s Air Force 1 Low, Light Orewood Brown Pink. Materials and the exact retooled aspects of the pair are a mystery, but based on our mock-up, the pair could feature a tonal light orewood brown finish on leather paneling accented by pink hits. These appear on the Swoosh, Nike SB text on the heel and sole unit, and the Nike SB-branded tongue tag.

Previous Nike SB releases that retool other Nike (and Jordan) models often upgrade the construction and materials to better suit the needs of skateboarding. Releases like the SB Air Max 95 changed the traction pattern and lugs of the sole unit, while the SB Jordan 4 retooled the cushioning setup for better board feel and comfort.
The Nike SB Air Force 1 Low Light Orewood Brown Pink will release Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
