Nike SB is often hailed as the more creative side of The Swoosh, with the label having many opportunities to work with some of the most popular IPs and collaborators on the planet. For the latest SB Dunk Low, Nike SB isn't in Kansas anymore, as the label works with The Wizard of Oz.
The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low features an all-over graphic print on the upper, capturing the enchanting scene where Dorothy lies in the poppy field. The vibrant red, orange, and yellow flowers dominate the design, creating a vivid and mesmerizing visual appeal. Accents of red, a nod to Dorothy's iconic ruby red slippers, enhance the sneaker’s allure, appearing on the Swoosh, laces, tongue, heel tab, and sockliner.
Below the silky upper sits more red suede, which, if skated, will slowly be revealed over time. The tongue tag is adorned with the Wizard of Oz logo, while the insole showcases a striking depiction of The Wicked Witch of the West. The design is completed with a rubber midsole featuring red stitching details, extending the poppy field motif, and paired with a red rubber outsole.
The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low will release on December 19, 2024, through select skate shops internationally, December 21 in skate shops in North America, and on December 23 via Nike SNKRS. In full-family sizing, retail is set at $135, $90, and $75, respectively.
