Although there was a short period when online chatter around Nike SB’s GR output was leaning toward the negative, the label has proven its doubters wrong with a solid lineup of upcoming releases for 2025. In the last few weeks, we’ve gotten looks at pairs like the Dark Team Red Olive Flak, Red Stardust, and ISO Cool Grey, with yet another pair dropping later in the year—Persian Violet.
This sample takes on an almost Halloween-like color palette featuring Persian violet suede overlays and black suede underlays, landing on the toe, midfoot, and collar. Contrasting these are hits of an orange-red on the lace set, Swoosh, Nike SB-branded tongue tag, and the Nike embroidery on the heel. Fans of the thick padded tongue will be pleased to hear the pair comes with this feature.
