Before Nike SB can drop one of this year’s most unexpected collaborations, the upcoming Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low, we have already been given previews of what’s coming through next year's fall. We recently saw early samples of pairs like the Verdugo Mountain and Cool Grey and official images of Spring 2025 colorways like the White Black and Black White Gum. Adding to the list of pairs dropping in the early parts of 2025 is the Alumninum colorway.
Like many of next year’s SB Dunk Lows, this new pair primarily features a suede construction, taking on the titular aluminum hue across the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. More hits of this light blue color find a home on the woven tongue label resting on the black canvas tongue. Underlays on the toebox, midfoot, and collar come in black suede. Contrasting the two-tone look is the grey suede Swoosh running along the midfoot, stopping below a heel tab with the same color scheme and material makeup. Another contrasting detail comes along the lacing setup with more grey hues, while the sockliner features the final hit of aluminum. Down below, the midsole and outsole come in tonal grey hues.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Aluminum will release on January 29, 2025, through Nike SNKRS online. A skate shop release should take place just before the online release. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $115. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
