Jordan Release Calendar

The era of dad shoes is over. Now, it's time for grandad shoes – and the New Balance Allerdale Made in UK Roasted Cashew is leading the charge. Getting its name from the historical region of England that's renowned for its shoemaking heritage, this is the kind of sneaker you can wear every day, with just about anything. Clean, versatile, and undeniably good-looking, it’s built to be your new go-to.
The first thing that you'll notice about this Allerdale is its Roasted Cashew leather upper that's decked out with a tumbled finish. Taking cues from a pair of luxury Oxfords or some premium Derbies, these have been designed to age gracefully and stand the test of time. New Balance's OG logo is finely embroidered across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while cotton laces weave through hiking-inspired D-ring eyelets for a subtle utilitarian twist.

Adam Cheung is a writer and editor who specialises in sneakers and streetwear. Over the past few years, he's curated features and guides for everyone from Burberry to Nike. Often travelling between the UK and Hong Kong, don't be too surprised if you find Adam anywhere else around the world taking street photography or feasting on the local delicacies.
Beneath the surface, the midsole might look minimal, but the Boston sportswear company has actually equipped it with FuelCell. This is the kind of cushioning that's usually reserved for its most advanced running shoes, so even though these aren't built for your next 10K, you can wear them if you really wanted to. And, of course, we just can't talk about the Roasted Cashew without mentioning the fact that it's crafted from NB's very prestigious factories in Flimby, Cumbria.
The New Balance Allerdale Made in UK Roasted Cashew is just one of the many Allerdales that are dropping this season. Slated to release during Fall 2025 via New Balance and select retailers both online and in-store, it’ll be available in men's sizing and retail for $250. For your best chance to secure your pair, make sure you grab the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
