New Balance is going back to basics. The Boston-based brand’s annual May Grey Day celebration is back for 2026 with over a dozen pairs of grey sneakers from across the brand’s catalog. New Balance is best known for its lifestyle models, though, and the holiday has a strong focus on the new heat from NB’s everyday line.
The New Balance ABZORB 2000 Grey Days brings the classic New Balance colorway to one of the brand’s newest lifestyle superstars. Featuring a mix of steel grey mesh and light greyish-purple support paneling, the colorway fits perfectly into the tonal collection.
In addition to the two base colors, more shades of light grey are stacked on top of the purple paneling, with a darker grey on the toe and heel, and a putty grey added to the ABZORB pods in the midsole that sit just above more slight purple hits.
