In 2023, The Apartment Tokyo, a Japanese-based retailer, teamed up with New Balance to launch two colorways of the 576 model. Following this up and paying homage to The Apartment’s love for NYC is a new collaboration on the cult classic New Balance 610.
Tying in with the Subway Series, the name given to the match-ups between the rival New York Yankees and New York Mets in the MLB, the pair utilizes key colors from both squads. Deep navy blue hues grace the mesh paneling on the base, the synthetic leather along the midfoot, and the heel tab. The Apartment opts for grey-blue and white details on select portions of the sneaker, which pays homage to the Bronx Bombers when combined with the navy panel.
