The output from New Balance in 2025 has been stellar as the Boston-based footwear brand has introduced a slew of new silhouettes to the mix. Outside of the Y2K-inspired New Balance ABZORB 2000 and Miu Miu-esque New Balance 204L, NB brought a “premium classic” that feels like something out of the 99X series with the 2010 silhouette. Following the debut Dockside Vintage Indigo colorway, a Kith collaboration, and the Pecan Castlerock rendition, the 2010 is getting a creamy Linen Desert Clay makeover.
A diamond-knit mesh pattern in a cream hue sits on the base, while tonal cream shades hit the suede overlays around the mudguard, midfoot, and heel. Synthetic paneling on the toebox, below the midfoot panels, and on the collar comes in a tan finish to contrast the cream hues that surround them.
Another tan shade is found on the lace set, sockliner, and the piping of the grey and green midfoot N logo. Final hits of New Balance branding are found on the metallic silver tongue tag and on the heel tab, both containing the classic NB emblem. Down below sits a foam midsole in a vintage yellow hue with ABZORB pods in the heel, a stability shank in the midfoot, and a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 2010 Linen Desert Clay will release July 23, 2025, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
