New Balance 992 Made in USA Triple Black
Buy at New Balance
New Balance finally gave the people what they wanted—a rerelease of the New Balance 992 Made in USA. The legendary silhouette was first released in 2006 and was shelved shortly after, returning in 2020 through collaborations with Joe Freshgoods, Concepts, Todd Snyder, Levis, and JJJJound. After being shelved again in 2022, the sneaker is back in core colorways like the pictured Triple Black.
Alongside this Triple Black rendition, New Balance also prepped the sneaker in classic core colors like Grey, Black, Navy, and Nimbus Cloud, all of which (sans the Navy pair) released at midnight on March 7, 2025, to the surprise of many. Coating the upper of this Triple Black colorway is a mixture of premium pigskin suede, smooth leather, and mesh. Pigskin suede lands on the overlays spanning the mudguard, midfoot, eyestays, and heel, while a black mesh is on the base layer.
