Teddy Santis's Aime Leon Dore and New Balance have become inseparable, so much so that Santis creatively directs the New Balance Made in USA lineup. Even still, Aime Leon Dore x New Balance collaborations have only continued to come our way. In March, the duo unveiled the 990v4 in a rich Navy colorway, which was well-received by sneakerheads. Following the recent reveal of the True Camo colorway, Aime Leon Dore and New Balance are set to drop another stunning iteration: the 990v4 Made in USA Red Clay.
The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Red Clay is crafted with premium materials, featuring a luxurious pigskin suede, mesh, and nubuck construction. A vibrant orange hue covers the suede elements, including the mudguard, midfoot, eyestays, and heel. This bold orange is complemented by tonal mesh inserts on the toe, midfoot, and collar, providing a cohesive look.
The grey perforated nubuck panels add a subtle contrast, along with silver accents on the tongue, the iconic N logo, and the heel tab. Inside, the sneaker boasts ALD branding on the insole, a nod to the exclusive nature of this release. The shoe is finished with a white, grey, and cream foam midsole, offering both style and comfort, while a black rubber outsole provides durability and grip.
The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Red Clay will release August 23, 2024, exclusively via Aime Leon Dore online. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
