The New Balance 550 Aime Leon Dore White Red edition is one of four colorways set to drop alongside each other in October of 2020. Made in collaboration with NYC-based label, these New Balance P550’s are a part of the “Basketball Oxford” Collection. A re-issue of NB’s classic basketball sneaker that debuted in the late 1980s. This pair comes in a clean white and red colorway. Featuring an off-white based full grain leather upper with mesh underlays and red accents. Custom dual branding is found on the back heels, tongue tag and insoles while an aged “N” logo appears on the side panels. Finishing things off for this New Balance 550 is an EVA cushioned midsole with rubber cupsole and outsole and three sets of cotton laces.

The New Balance 550 was originally released in 1989 as the New Balance P550. A low-top basketball silhouette, it features premium smooth and perforated leather uppers along with a breathable mesh interior lining and a EVA cushioned rubber sole.

The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 550 “White Red” is set to release on October 9th, 2020. It will launch at New Balance as well as select stores for a retail price of $130. They will be available exclusively in men’s sizing, housed in special packaging.
